About Shaun

Shaun Coffey is interested in building the capacity of people and organisations to shape the future and take control of their situations. He works in a range of organisations and roles, and his work regularly see him working in multi-cultural settings. He is a student of leadership, always learning and growing, always trying to get better at the craft, and always trying to learn from others and to do good for others as a result.

Shaun has had career success over 50 years – as a CEO, Senior Executive, Non-Executive Director and Chairman. He is result-driven, with highly developed leadership, strategy and management skills. He has proven capabilities to exercise judgment and make sound decisions with significant impacts. His experience is complemented by a deep and diverse knowledge across a wide range of sectors and geographies.

Shaun has become known as a business and science entrepreneur. He has been involved in the founding of many start-ups and joint ventures in technology. He has operated in the agriculture, manufacturing, energy, environment, health, and services sectors .

Shaun is a highly effective communicator with government, business, industry and the wider community. This includes experience directly in policy formulation and in the provision of high-level advice to Ministers and senior officials in Australian, New Zealand and Indonesian Governments.

From his base in Brisbane, Australia, Shaun operates in the global market with key interests in Asia, Europe and Oceania. His strengths include:
